Colors

Kadence allows full color customization through the WordPress Customizer. You can change header colors, button colors, background colors, and typography. I liked that the global color palette makes it easy to keep branding consistent. It would work really well for a ceramics blog because you can use earthy tones like terracotta and cream.

Page Layout Options

Kadence offers:

  • Full width layout
  • Sidebar layout
  • Narrow content layout
  • Blog grid or list format

It also includes starter templates that make setup much easier. I found this helpful because it saves time when building pages.

Widgets & Customization

Kadence has:

  • Multiple footer widget areas
  • Header builder
  • Custom logo upload
  • Transparent header option
  • WooCommerce integration

The header builder is especially powerful because you can drag and drop elements like buttons, menus, and social icons.

My Rating: (4.8/5)

Why?

I would rate Kadence five stars because it is extremely flexible while still being beginner friendly. The customization options are advanced but not overwhelming. I especially liked the header builder and global color controls. For a ceramics blog, it allows a clean portfolio-style layout while also supporting blog posts. The only limitation is that some advanced features require the Pro version, but the free version is still very strong.
